That is a task in which dictionaries may be of help, and that some software programs try to accomplish with extremely poor results. Translating means conveying meaning from one language to another as accurately as possible. In order to achieve this, a profound knowledge is needed, not only of the languages in question but also of the cultures they inhabit and in which they are recreated every day.
